It is a rare treat to see beautiful Tall Ships in London and now with Thames Leisure you can enjoy these majestic ships up close from the comfort of your own Thames boat charter.
Taking place between Wednesday 12th and Sunday 16th April 2017, the event also marks the start of the Rendez-vous Tall Ships Regatta, a race across the Atlantic to Canada for which the borough of Royal Greenwich is the proud start host. There will be up to 30 of these stunning ships gracing the Thames around Maritime Greenwich with some cruising regularly all the way up to Tower Bridge.
As an approved Thames cruise operator for Sail Royal Greenwich, Thames Leisure has created some special packages so your group can see the visiting international fleet of Tall Ships, and watch the dramatic evening fireworks displays from the very best place – the river itself. Fireworks displays have the dramatic backdrop of Maritime Greenwich’s UNESCO riverfront buildings, and with Tall Ships masts dotted around, will create a wonderful experience for you and your guests. Fireworks displays are on Wednesday, Thursday, Friday and Saturday evenings.
Our fleet of 4 boats can take groups of from 20 to 375 people, and whether you want a seated dining experience or delicious and substantial canapes, we can provide just the right thing.
The fireworks displays take place at 9.15pm each evening (9.45pm on Saturday) so how about a maritime themed luxury hot chocolate with rum for your guests to mark the grand finale of the evening? Talk to us about your party, and we can come up with some options for you.
