The River Cruiser with year-round Charm

Whether seeking to entertain clients, have a celebratory staff party, or give your wedding or birthday party guests an event to remember, the William B offers a high standard of quality and versatility. Autumn is one of the best times to enjoy London from the river. Come onboard!

Warm saloon inside, spacious roof garden outside

Inside, the fully upholstered teak panelled entrance hall with its polished brass wall lights and handrails makes an impressive introduction. A proper bar provides a full list of beers, wines and spirits, and the kitchen produces exceptional food, often organic and always home cooked, from our fantastic chef Skye Coxe.

Upstairs you can enjoy perhaps the best view from any charter boat in London. A 360 degree view is possible from the lush garden feel created with quality artificial grass, feature plants, and garden furniture.  It is a lovely place to be whether throughout the year. Autumn sunsets are perhaps the best of all the year,  and even in Winter event guests happily wrap up warm and take in the London sights gliding by.

The deliciously welcoming teak panelled entrance hall leads on to a modern and contemporary stateroom complete with high-quality carpets, sleek and polished wooden flooring and fresh, clean lines. The space is wholly flexible for large seated dining groups, or more informal drinks and canape parties.

Don’t just cruise along, do something!

There’s nothing wrong with enjoying a Thames cruise with some good food and drink, in fact it’s simply one of the best London experience. But, you can do more if you have the inclination, and the William B is a great venue for doing more. You can clay shoot from the roof deck, and our new laser clay-shooting will be on the menu soon too! Or enjoy wine-tasting experiences, casino tables and what we are sure are the best floating DJs in London!

The William B is a year-round joy and her subdued lighting and authentic nautical touches add to the luxurious feel of the surroundings.

William B – The best all-round boat for charter in London?

For us, running more than 300 boat charters in London per year, it sometimes seems like the William B really does have it all. It’s all to do with the configuration. At about 35 metres long, she has plenty of space inside because it is all contained in one long forward saloon just past the mirrored reception area where guests board. This saloon is serviced by a full bar. The toilets and kitchen (‘galley’ in boat parlance) are to the rear of the vessel. This layout works exceptionally well for food service – wonderful food appears seemingly effortlessly from the galley right on time.

A crowning glory: the new Roof Garden

In summer 2018, we took the large long open roof deck and took things up a notch. Adding quality lush green astro-turf across the whole expanse, adding wooden garden furniture, some bunting, a couple of deckchairs and stocking some candles and cushions has really made it a truly wonderful place to be. Summer BBQs and Clay Shoots are now particularly special. We think this may be the biggest ‘pound-for-pound’ roof deck of any London boat – why not drop us a line so you can feel the benefit from your next event too.
